Position Summary

Tax Managers oversee review of returns, tax reporting, planning, and compliance, leading accounting staff to meet department goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage income tax compliance and review returns for real estate clients
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead, train, and coach staff; manage internal scheduling
• Research technical tax requirements, provide excellent client service
• Develop client relationships and participate in proposals
• Monitor quality and team performance
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Approximately 6+ years relevant experience
• Previous tax experience in public accounting required
• CPA or EA certification required
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication skills
• Experience with affordable housing, LIHTC, OZ, HTC, 1031 exchanges, HUD is helpful but not required
