Eden Capital Careers in Phoenix seeks a Tax Manager to join our growing CPA firm in North Central Phoenix. You will lead tax planning, compliance, and client advisory work for a diverse set of entities.

You will supervise engagement teams, mentor staff, and develop business opportunities while staying current on tax developments and industry trends. CPA is required with 3+ years public accounting tax experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field is required.
• Master's in taxation is preferred and beneficial.
• CPA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and conformance.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns in compliance with requirements.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document record-keeping and accounting systems.
• Lead engagement planning, including budgeting, risk assessment, and strategic development.
• Supervise staff and manage workflows; lead training and reviews.
• Stay current on tax developments and advise clients accordingly.
• Identify value-added billing opportunities and assist with billing and collections.
• Build and maintain client relationships with financial officers and business leaders.
• Participate in networking, marketing, and business development events.
• Foster mentoring and teamwork within the staff.
