Job summary

Insite US, a growing national public accounting and advisory firm in New York, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead private client engagements and deliver strategic tax solutions for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trusts, and privately held businesses.

You will oversee tax planning, compliance, and advisory work from planning through delivery, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with leadership on business development while maintaining exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in public accounting, with a strong Private Client Services background.
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, trusts, estates, and privately owned businesses.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and planning.
• Proficient with professional tax software such as CCH Axcess.

Responsibilities

• Oversee private client tax compliance and advisory engagements from planning through completion.
• Lead engagements, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget.
• Mentor Tax Seniors and Associates; develop junior staff.
• Develop proactive tax-saving opportunities and long-term planning strategies.
• Support clients during IRS/state examinations, notices, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with partners on client presentations and business development initiatives.
