Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in a public accounting firm, CPA or EA licensure, PCS experience, and strong communication skills. This hybrid role supports in‑person collaboration while offering flexibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in a public accounting firm.
• PCS experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• CPA or Enrolled Agent licensure required
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of tax software such as CCH Axcess
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Engagement Manager on client accounts, handling pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverables, and billing/collections.
• Lead and manage multiple tax engagements with tax efficiency and long-term planning.
• Present federal and state income tax returns and strategize for clients.
• Work with entities including corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, fiduciary, and foundations.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and issues for clients.
• Implement tax advice in response to new legislation and planning.
• Facilitate complex tax research and establish tax strategies for client transactions.
• Advise on IRS and state issues, respond to correspondence and audits.
• Assist with interim tax projections and year-end closeouts.
• Provide supervision, training, and mentoring to staff.
