Job summary

Aprio is seeking a Tax Manager for our Private Client Tax practice in Atlanta, GA. You will lead a team delivering compliance and advisory services to diverse clients, including entity structuring and strategic planning, with a focus on high-impact corporate transactions.

You will manage client relationships, mentor professionals, and help grow a high-performing practice in a hybrid work environment. This role requires strong tax expertise and leadership across federal/state matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 6+ years of federal tax consulting/compliance experience in public accounting.
• Experience preparing and reviewing S-Corporation, Partnership, Individual, and Corporate returns.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with tax software and technology platforms.
• Master's preferred and CPA license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, delegating and ensuring quality.
• Develop and implement tax strategies in line with evolving laws.
• Provide consulting on complex tax matters including M&A and corporate restructuring.
• Conduct tax research and apply findings to client service.
• Prepare and review federal/state returns for S-Corps, partnerships, individuals, and corporations.
