RSM US LLP is seeking a Tax Manager to advise high-net-worth families and multi-generational offices on comprehensive tax services, including planning, structuring and compliance. You will lead engagements with entities, individuals, fiduciaries and estates, coordinating with specialists on state, local and international taxation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field.
• CPA, EA, or JD required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a family office with an emphasis on taxation.
• Proficient in at least one area: entity, individual and fiduciary taxation; with an understanding of complex investments and the related tax implications.
• Familiar with multi-state taxation.

Responsibilities

• Advise single-family, multi-family and virtual-family office clients and multi-generational families on a full spectrum of tax services including structuring and modeling, succession planning, wealth transfer planning and tax compliance.
• Manage and oversee the engagement team focused on entity, individual, fiduciary, and gift / estate taxation. This includes the planning and execution of client tax engagements.
• Collaborate with RSM specialists regarding estate and gift planning and taxation, state and local taxation and international taxation.
• Provide leadership, training and career mentorship to staff and supervisor level team members.
• Drive and collaborate with senior leadership on growth opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other professional advisors through a commitment to outstanding client service.
