Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Tax Manager for our well established regional CPA firm. You will oversee tax return preparation, supervise staff, and advise on complex tax issues, with a clear path to Partnership.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of public accounting experience with progression in tax complexity and research.
• At least one year supervising and directing work of tax preparers.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; master’s degree in taxation preferred.
• Current valid CPA license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical review and approval of tax returns and examinations of any complexity.
• Leads larger tax returns and delegates tasks to staff as needed.
• Advises clients with advanced tax planning and issues.
• Ensures client service and timely completion within budgeted time.
• Participates in client meetings and tax planning with Auditing and Accounting Department.
• Supervises tax staff and mentors junior team members.
