Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking a Tax Director or Manager in our Texas Tax practice, based in Fort Worth. This role focuses on consulting with clients on tax planning and business processes, while leading and reviewing tax engagements for diverse clients.

The candidate will develop teams and contribute to client success through industry knowledge and proactive service. The position requires at least 6 years of public accounting tax experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm.
• CPA is required; JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA certification.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people.
• Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings.
• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
