Job summary

CLA is expanding its Northeast Tax practice and seeks a Tax Director/Manager to lead engagements across multiple Massachusetts locations. You will consult with clients on tax planning, supervise and train staff, and develop the career paths of team members in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

The role requires a CPA with 6+ years in a large firm and 10+ years preferred, with a bachelor’s in accounting/finance; JD/EA may substitute CPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Active CPA certification required; a JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA.
• Candidates should have 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm; 10+ years highly preferred.

About the role:

CLA is looking to hire Tax Manager or Director for our growing Northeast Tax practice. Locations include : Boston, MA, Andover MA, New Bedford, MA, Quincy, MA, Worcester, MA, Cranston, RI, Shelton, CT, and West Hartford, CT.

As a Tax Director/Manager You Will

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management.

• 10+ years experience highly preferred.

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• You have an active CPA certification. A JD or EA may be accepted in place of a CPA certification.

The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: $116,000.00 - $187,000.00.
