Weaver is seeking talented tax leaders at the Manager level to join our growing firm in the New York Metropolitan area. A Tax Manager works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and firm administration activities, including training and mentoring less-experienced team members.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 5+ years of federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm; Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting; strong relationship

Qualifications

• CPA with 5+ years in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Proven ability to attract and service new clients.
• Technical knowledge to execute engagements across industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax planning and compliance engagements for diverse clients.
• Develop business opportunities and participate in firm administration.
