Job summary

gpac is assisting an established CPA firm in Cleveland to hire a Tax Manager. You will lead tax compliance, planning, and client advisory, develop tax strategies, review complex issues, supervise a team, and serve as a strategic advisor to clients.

Required: Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA, 5+ years in public accounting, and strong knowledge of federal, state, and local taxes. Salary 110k–160k USD with excellent benefits.

• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Excellent leadership and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance, reporting, and filing processes for clients.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Review and analyze complex tax issues and provide recommendations.
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals.
