Job summary

Ellin & Tucker is seeking a Tax Manager in the Baltimore area. The role requires leading tax engagements, supervising client service teams, and delivering advanced tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and business owners.

You will interact with clients regularly and grow through mentoring and CPAs within the firm. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years of tax experience, strong communication, and proficiency with tax software; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of tax and successful client consulting experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review, and sign state and federal tax returns, quarterly estimated payments, and personal property tax returns.
• Supervise multiple client services teams on engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects.
• Perform advanced-level tax research and compose memoranda.
• Deliver proactive tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and business owners.
• Act as project manager for special projects and mentor tax associates.
• Develop client deliverables and participate in business development activities.
