Distinct | North America in Frisco, TX is seeking a Tax Manager to lead planning and advisory work with senior leadership from day one. You will own complex tax projects for individuals and businesses, and contribute to firm growth in a hybrid setting.

The role requires five years in public accounting tax and a CPA credential. You will coach junior staff and have meaningful conversations about the path beyond Manager with leadership.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in public accounting tax for individual and business returns.
• CPA certification required.
• Comfortable owning client relationships independently.
• Ready for a serious conversation about what comes after Manager.

Responsibilities

• Review complex individual and business tax work and own those clients year round.
• Work with senior leadership on planning and advisory projects.
• Contribute to conversations about client service and firm growth.
• Coach and develop junior staff.
