You will lead client engagements, provide tax planning, mentor staff, respond to IRS notices, and stay current on tax law changes to support the firm's growth and deliver personalized financial solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Tax preferred.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent license required.
• 8+ years of experience in tax preparation, including 2+ in a review/managerial role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CCH Tax Software and Salesforce preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills; client-first mindset.
• High ethical standards and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns.
• Lead client engagements and monitor deadlines.
• Conduct tax planning and proactive strategy communication.
• Respond to IRS/state audits and notices.
• Manage and mentor staff, delegate projects, and support training.
• Research complex tax issues and prepare memoranda.
