Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing public accounting team. This role focuses on managing client relationships, reviewing complex tax returns, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality tax planning and compliance services across industries.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical tax knowledge, leadership experience, and a client-focused mindset. CPA is preferred or actively pursuing, with 5+ years of public accounting tax experience and experience reviewing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• CPA license preferred or actively pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust tax returns.
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines simultaneously.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.
• Research and resolve federal and state tax issues.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and seniors.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Some Audit experience.
• Assist with business development and practice growth initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with firm standards and tax regulations.
