dfwHR is seeking a Tax Manager in Mesa, AZ to oversee a sizable portfolio of business and individual tax clients. This role emphasizes review, planning, advisory services, and client relationship leadership rather than pure tax preparation.

The ideal candidate has significant public accounting tax experience, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex engagements. A hybrid work arrangement and client-focused growth opportunities are offered.

• Significant public accounting tax experience.
• Strong tax return review and advisory capabilities.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple complex engagements and priorities.
• Experience supervising or mentoring tax professionals.

Responsabilidades

• Review individual and business tax returns prepared by the tax team.
• Oversee approximately 150 to 200 client relationships representing 400 to 500 returns.
• Provide proactive tax planning, strategy, and advisory services.
• Work with business owners with multiple entities and tax considerations.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
• Manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and priorities.
• Guide and support Tax Associates and other tax team members.
• Research complex tax matters and develop practical solutions.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and collaborate with leadership.
