Job summary

THF CPAs seeks a Tax Manager in Tallahassee, FL to lead tax engagements, meet with clients, and mentor staff accountants. This in-person role offers growth in a regional Top 200 firm with a strong benefits package and professional development opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 5+ years of tax services experience in public accounting, and a track record of managing multiple engagements while delivering exceptional client service. Eligible for partial remote work based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• CPA Certification or passed all CPA exam sections and awaiting certification.
• At least five years of recent tax services experience in public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of staff accountants on multiple engagements.
• Meet with clients in-person and/or virtually to deliver tax consulting services.
• Provide exemplary client service and represent the firm in professional settings.
• Collaborate on industry group engagements and drive tax strategy.
