Job summary

Abacus Group seeks a Tax Manager Generalist for our Brightwaters, NY office to oversee a diverse tax portfolio and deliver year-round planning for closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. You will mentor staff, coordinate multi-entity returns (individual, partnership, S and C corporations), and serve as the primary client contact while addressing federal, state, and local tax issues.

• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Broad exposure across entity types (individual, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation).
• Strong knowledge of federal and NYS tax regulations.
• Experience serving closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• CPA is required.
