Job summary

WhiteCap Workforce Solutions is seeking a Tax Manager for a growing public accounting client in Fairfield, NJ. You will prepare and review high-net-worth individual and SMB tax returns, manage client relationships, and oversee staff at client sites.

CPA is preferred but not required; Master’s degree in accounting or taxation is advantageous. Gift/estate tax and tax-exempt entities knowledge is a plus; auditing experience is welcome. Travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a mid-size to large firm handling high-net-worth tax.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review high-net-worth individual and small to medium-sized business tax returns.
• Possess knowledge in gift, estate, and tax-exempt entities, which is advantageous.
• Manage client relationships comprehensively and professionally.
• Prepare detailed financial statements.
• Auditing experience is a plus.
• Oversee client communication and supervise firm staff.
• Perform offsite work at client locations.
