Job summary

The Bonadio Group in Wilmington, Delaware, is seeking a Manager Accountant to join our Tax-based SBA team with a flexible work option. You will oversee client engagements, develop client relationships, and mentor staff to deliver accurate tax services on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's in accounting, a CPA or EA, at least five years in a CPA firm, and strong skills in tax software and Microsoft Office, with the ability to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA or EA certification required.
• Minimum five years of relevant CPA firm experience.
• Ability to develop and sustain business relationships to increase client base.
• Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Overall successful completion of client engagements including compilations, tax compliance, preparation, research, correspondence and planning.
• Develop an understanding of a client’s business and industry.
• Review and prepare clear and concise working papers.
• Manage, mentor, and develop staff including oversight on engagements and feedback.
• Assist with development and retention of clients, cross-selling services.
