Software Placement Group in Greenville, SC is hiring a Tax Manager to lead a group of clients for individual and business taxation, coordinating with associates to meet deadlines and deliver timely feedback.

The role offers exposure to varied projects within a Southeast-based firm, with opportunities for partnership, growth, and a comprehensive benefits package including relocation and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in public accounting reviewing both individual and business taxation.
• CPA or EA in progress preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of clients and provide services in individual and business taxation
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates
• Coordinate with team members on all phases of the tax engagement
• Review mostly business (and some individual) tax returns and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Provide high-level client service
• Stay current on tax law changes and accounting-related developments and best practices
• Collaborate with team members on continual process improvement
• Participate in practice development and various firm activities
• Develop an area of tax specialization
