Qualifications

• Five (5)+ years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm
• Two (2)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
• Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, stay current with applicable strategies and ethics
• Experience with Microsoft Office and accounting software

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the team providing various tax, accounting and advisory services to small business clients
• Oversee and provide services pertaining to accounting, bookkeeping and prepared or compiled financials
• Review and analyze accounting records and/or reporting with clients, provide analysis and consultation, and discuss accounting and business matters
• Deliver best-in-class customer service to clients with responsiveness, timeliness, professionalism and accuracy
• Lead and plan client engagements, evaluating processes and procedures for efficiency and internal control improvements
• Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based on client operations and objectives
• Manage client relationships, address issues, and assist team leaders with additional services
• Delegate and supervise work with clear goals, resources and deadlines
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal tax practices and laws
• Assist with staffing, billing/collections and profitability targets
• Network and build relationships with clients and community
• Invest in professional development through firm programs
