Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a senior tax professional to manage and coordinate tax compliance and advisory work for clients, including reviewing complex federal, multi-national, and multi-state returns. You will lead day-to-day client relations, mentor staff, and contribute to business development for asset manager clients.

Preferred candidates hold a CPA/EA/JD with 6+ years of tax experience and at least 1 year in supervision, supporting partners with service execution and expanding services across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 6+ years of progressive financial service tax experience.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent, or JD.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience.
• Experience working with asset manager clients (private equity, hedge funds, fund of funds and/or venture capital) firms is required.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
• Review Federal, Multi-National, Multi-State Partnership tax returns.
• Lead client relationships on day to day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services.
• Research and consult on technical matters and special projects.
• Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client service.
• Participate in business development efforts to target and build relationships with client prospects.
• Manage, train and develop staff; participate in the performance review process.
