Cutler Advisors is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our growing firm. You will review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will provide technical guidance, identify tax-saving opportunities, and collaborate with engagement teams to ensure timely completion of tax engagements. This full-time role offers a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is required.
• Experience with tax preparation and accounting is required.
• Public accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and clients.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and maximize deductions and credits.
• Collaborate with engagement teams to ensure timely completion of tax engagements.
• Research and analyze complex tax issues and evolving tax laws.
• Assist in managing client expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure all work aligns with firm policies and professional standards.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Participate in process improvements related to tax review procedures.
• Maintain tax preparation priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
