Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Tax Manager for a growing CPA firm in North Central Phoenix. You will oversee tax planning, compliance, and client advisory services for individuals and small businesses.

This role requires a CPA, 3+ years of public accounting, and proven leadership in managing staff, budgets, and billing. Stay current on tax developments and help grow the firm's practice.

Formación

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field required.
• CPA license required; Master's in taxation or accounting beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements for accuracy and conformance.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Develop, modify, and document record-keeping and accounting systems.
• Lead and supervise staff in complex accounting and tax work.
• Conduct research on complex accounting and tax issues and manage research activities.
• Identify trends and risks from data to advise clients.
• Manage engagement planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and development.
• Participate in tax planning and client advisement.
• Drive productivity, realization, and engagement efficiency across teams.
• Keep clients informed on business and tax developments and implications.
