Job summary

W3Global in Arizona is seeking an experienced CPA and people leader to join our growing team as Tax Manager. You will act as a trusted advisor to business owners, delivering proactive tax strategy, education, and guidance as part of an integrated team of legal, insurance, financial, tax, and coaching professionals.

You will also lead and develop a team of tax professionals, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and an exceptional client experience while building long-term relationships with clients

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience, including preparation, review, and strategic tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted tax advisor to business owners, building strong client relationships through proactive planning, education, and strategic guidance.
• Participate in face-to-face client advisory meetings, collaborating across company's legal, insurance, financial, tax, and coaching teams.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
• Oversee the delegation, preparation, and review of individual and business tax returns, including S-Corps, C-Corps, and Partnerships.
• Provide technical oversight for complex tax matters, including federal and multi-state taxation, tax projections, and quarterly estimated payments.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and timely execution of client deliverables while continuously improving team processes and workflows.
