Job summary

The role blends technical tax proficiency with leadership, client mentorship, and growth initiatives within a growing advisory practice.

The position offers a hybrid schedule, exposure to cross-functional teams, and opportunities to influence strategy while mentoring professionals and expanding client service

Qualifications

• CPA, EA, or equivalent professional certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong technical tax planning and compliance knowledge
• Experience managing client relationships and engagements
• Proven leadership and staff development experience
• Excellent communication and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tax planning and compliance engagements
• Develop proactive strategies to minimize tax exposure and maximize client value
• Advise clients on business structure, transactions, and growth initiatives
• Research and resolve complex federal and state tax issues
• Deliver year-round advisory support and planning recommendations
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Mentor, coach, and develop tax professionals
• Review work product and provide technical guidance
• Oversee budgets, engagements, and profitability
• Support business development and marketing initiatives
