Job summary

Energy Talent Search is recruiting for a Phoenix-based CPA firm to fill a Tax Manager role. The position centers on corporate and business tax compliance, client relationships, mentoring staff, and ensuring accuracy during peak filing seasons.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• Active CPA license required.
• 5–8 years of public accounting experience with corporate and business tax compliance exposure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate (C-Corp and S-Corp), partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Supervise, train, and review junior tax staff.
• Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to small and midsize business clients.
• Research complex tax issues and communicate findings to partners and clients.
• Manage client relationships, timelines, and engagement budgets.
