Responsibilities

• Oversee client portfolios in the alternative investment fund industry (private equity, real estate, hedge funds)
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external clients
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects
• Assess tax impacts of legal and regulatory changes, develop arguments, and advise clients
• Manage engagement risks, financial performance, billing, collections, and project budgets
• Deliver high-quality tax services

Qualifications

• At least five years of recent tax experience in the alternative investment industry
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; CPA, EA, JD, or LLM license required or within one year of hire
• Proficiency in taxation of partnerships and tiered investment fund structures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
