Responsibilities

• Oversee client portfolios in the alternative investment fund industry (private equity, real estate, hedge funds).
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external clients.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
• Assess the tax implications of legal and regulatory changes, develop supporting tax strategies, and advise clients.
• Manage engagement risk, financial performance, billing, collections, and project budgets.
• Deliver high-quality tax services to clients.

Qualifications

• At least five years of recent tax experience in the alternative investment industry.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution; CPA, EA, JD, or LLM certification required or in process.
• Proficiency in taxation of partnership and tiered investment fund structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial information clearly.
