Responsibilities

• Oversee client portfolios within the alternative investment fund industry (private equity, real estate, hedge funds).
• Act as the primary contact for internal and external clients.
• Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects.
• Assess tax impacts of rule and law changes; develop tax strategies and recommendations.
• Manage engagement risks, financial performance, billing, collections, and project budgets.
• Deliver high-quality tax services to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of recent tax experience in the alternative investment industry.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or other approved credentials. If not possessed at hire, must be obtained within one year.
• Proficiency in taxation of partnerships and tiered investment fund structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
