Job summary

Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Tax Manager to lead day-to-day income tax accounting and compliance in a lean, fast-paced in-house tax function.

You will own ASC 740 provisions, data gathering, and coordination with external advisors to support planning and M&A activity. You will partner with the Senior Tax Director and cross-functional finance teams to manage multi-state returns, fixed asset depreciation, notices, and timely filings while maintaining accuracy and regulatory

Qualifications

• 8 years of progressive corporate income tax experience.
• Blend of public accounting and corporate/industry experience preferred.
• Technical proficiency in ASC 740 income tax accounting.
• Experience with federal consolidated return preparation and multi-state income tax compliance.
• Experience managing or responding to tax notices and audits from federal and state authorities.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to work with large data sets and identify inconsistencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Detail orientation and ability to prioritize tasks across multiple jurisdictions and projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own ASC 740 income tax accounting and year-end provisions.
• Prepare and review federal consolidated and multi-state income tax returns.
• Manage notices, audits, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Coordinate with outsourced compliance providers and external advisors.
• Support tax planning and cross-functional finance projects.
• Assist with tax research and internal memos.
