We are seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join a reputable mid-size CPA firm known for excellence in accounting and tax services. This role is perfect for a driven tax professional who holds an active CPA license and wants to lead complex client engagements while supporting the growth of the accounting team.

As a Tax Manager, you will oversee all aspects of tax compliance and planning for a diverse client portfolio. You’ll work closely with partners and staff to ensure the firm’s high standards in tax and accounting services are met. Your leadership will help develop junior staff and enhance client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Lead strategic tax planning and advisory projects in collaboration with the accounting team and partners.
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants to uphold quality in both tax and accounting work.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and professional CPA standards.
• Stay updated on evolving tax regulations to provide accurate guidance.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license required.
• 3+ years of progressive public accounting and tax experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax rules.
