Job Details

We are currently seeking a Tax Manager to join our team! This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual who is passionate and focused on Real Estate and Partnership taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan tax engagements for high net worth individuals and S corps.
• Provide expert advice on real estate tax including 1031 exchanges, 743/754, special allocation of income, and others.
• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Perform tax planning for clients, including advising on potential tax advantages and disadvantages of certain business decisions.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide exceptional client service.
• Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
• Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax planning and compliance experience in public accounting
• Extensive experience in real estate tax and partnerships
• Proficiency in tax review, 1120S, and 1031 exchange.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting skills.
• Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency with CCH Axcess is preferred, but open to other tax software.
