The Tax Manager will directly support the Senior Vice President, Tax and the Finance Team by managing the overall tax lifecycle of the Amynta Group. This includes preparation and/or first review of the quarterly and year-end income tax provision for financial reporting purposes as well as coordinating with outside service providers to ensure timely filing of all required income tax returns.
Additionally, the Tax Manager will support the overall organization by analyzing the tax implications of corporate acquisitions, executing special projects, and assisting corporate business partners with various inquiries involving other areas of taxation (i.e. Sales and Use Tax, Personal Property Tax, Corporate Annual Report Filings, Information Reporting & Withholding Issues, Unclaimed Property Tax, etc.).
The Tax Manager is also expected to be engaged in the development and implementation of new processes to support the efficient preparation of the tax provision, the creation and maintenance of effective and efficient controls for reporting purposes, and the development of approaches to effectively forecast future anticipated effective tax rates.
The Tax Manager should be adept at developing relationships with leaders from various business units and functions within the Amynta Group and outside advisors in order to understand both current and proposed activities to ensure they are accurately reporting the tax effects of business initiatives in the financial statements. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Tax.
