Procyon Tax seeks a Tax Manager to oversee preparation and review of individual, business, nonprofit, estate, and trust tax returns, while delivering proactive planning and supervising a 3-4 person team.
The role requires CPA and 7–10 years in public accounting, with strong cross-entity tax knowledge and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment. Procyon offers a hybrid schedule, training reimbursement, and a compensation range of $135-150K plus bonus.

This role sits within Procyon Tax, our in-house tax division. The Tax Manager plays a central role within Procyon Tax, overseeing the preparation and review of a broad range of tax returns while delivering proactive tax planning, researching complex tax matters, and supervising a small team of accounting professionals. This role requires deep knowledge of tax issues affecting privately held and owner-managed businesses, as well as individuals with complex tax situations, including trusts and estates. The Tax Manager partners closely with financial advisors and the broader Procyon team to identify planning opportunities and deliver integrated advice across a client's full financial picture. The ideal candidate is technically rigorous and detail oriented, communicates complex tax concepts clearly to clients and colleagues, and thrives leading a team through a demanding compliance calendar.
