Job summary

The Agency seeks an experienced Tax Manager to lead a North Port practice, owning client relationships, quality, and delivery. You will coach a 4–6 person team and stay hands-on in tax prep and planning, while driving growth with AI integration.

Hybrid work arrangement in North Port with a base salary of $115k–$150k and performance bonuses tied to client retention and office expansion.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred; experienced EAs will be considered.
• Several years of public accounting experience including multistate tax work
• Experience leading or mentoring a team, or clear readiness to step into that role
• Comfortable being hands-on through busy season as a true player-coach
• Tech-forward mindset with genuine interest in how AI is reshaping the accounting industry
• Base salary of $115k to $150k depending on credentials and experience
• Performance bonus tied to client retention and office growth

Our client is a modern, tech-forward accounting platform that acquires established CPA practices and runs them with the tools, capital, and support that independent firms rarely have access to. They're seeking a Tax Manager to step in as the principal in charge of an established, well-regarded practice in the North Port area. There's an existing book of loyal clients and a team already in place. The opportunity is to take the helm of a real business and make it better. This role is hybrid and based in North Port with a base salary of $115k to $150k plus bonus.
