This is a rare chance to step into a leadership role with a clear path to partnership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex corporate, partnership, high-net-worth individual, fiduciary, and tax-exempt entity tax returns.

  • Meet with prospective clients, assist with proposals, and develop new relationships.

  • Interpret trust documents, wills, business operating agreements, and other related documents.

  • Support clients with related business needs (QuickBooks, payroll tax, sales tax).

  • Represent clients before the IRS as needed.

  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing feedback and supporting professional growth.

  • Maintain accurate billing records and manage multiple client relationships, engagements, and projects—delivering on time and within budget.

  • Keep partners informed of key developments, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Accounting or related field preferred.

  • Active CPA license required.

  • At least 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience.

  • Solid technical tax knowledge and client service skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities with a team-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and tax software such as Thomson Reuters (or equivalent).

What’s In It For You

  • Clear path to ownership/partnership as part of a succession plan.

  • Stable client base and supportive leadership team.

  • Competitive compensation package and benefits.

  • On-site role with direct access to senior leadership and decision-making.
