Job description

Liberty Personnel is working with a global client looking for a Tax Manager to lead their tax function. Our client is seeking a well-rounded tax professional who will be involved in all areas of domestic and international tax. A remote schedule is available for candidates who can work ET hours.

Responsibilities:

• Consolidated US federal tax return preparation
• Work papers, US and international tax information package preparation
• Forms 1120, 5471, 5472, 5713, 8858, and 8865 and state income/franchise tax return preparation
• Communicate with Global Controllers to ensure accurate filings.
• Tax depreciation, gain/loss, and Subpart F/GILTI calculations
• Remit tax to the various local taxing jurisdictions
• Manage relationship with Big4 CPA Firm
• Income tax provision calculation, APB 23, FIN 48, and tax footnote preparation
• Tax planning, M&A transaction review, Federal NOL management, Subpart F and GILTI estimates
• Business license compliance, property taxes, respond to tax notices and tax audits
• Review exemption certificates, issue exemption certificates to vendors

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of complex domestic and international tax experience
• Excel, Corptax and Accounting Software experience
