We are partnering with a growing financial services firm in the greater Minneapolis area that is looking to add a Tax Manager (Reviewer) to their team. This client is looking for someone with 5+ years of tax experience, strong project management skills, and high attention to details. This company offers a fun, close-knit team, flexibility with a hybrid work environment (no set days for when you need to be in the office), and growth opportunities!

The salary for this position is $130,000 - $145,000.

The Tax Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide client services to existing firm clients.
• Assist in managing, recruiting, developing and coaching professional staff.
• Perform tax quality control reviews as directed by partners.
• Keep current on accounting standards and education.
• Review individual and business tax returns.
• Assists in billing, monitors budgets, competencies and administrative.
• Review the successful completion and accuracy of client’s tax returns.
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

The Tax Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
• 5+ years of tax experience required.
• Ability to work prioritize.
• CPA preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
