PriceKubecka, PLLC is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee a shared book of about 50 client relationships and lead a 3–5 member team in a hybrid Plano, TX role. You will collaborate with clients, review complex tax returns, and guide staff through busy seasons while shaping tax strategies and process improvements.

The ideal candidate holds an active CPA license, 8–10+ years in public accounting, and broad experience across entity types.

The opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Tax Manager to support our Tax Partner. You'll take on roughly 50 client relationships from a shared book, lead a team of 3 to 5, and be the person our team leans on when a problem gets complicated. Our practice is collaborative, so clients are shared rather than owned.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary reviewer on returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, and individuals
• Handle complex, multi-entity, and multi-state client issues
• Work directly with clients by phone, video, in person, and at local client sites
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 to 5, plus interns during busy season
• Build tax strategies that fit each client's goals and keep them current on legislative changes
• Help improve our tax process and technology, and oversee billing and engagement profitability

What you bring

• Active CPA license
• 8-10+ years of tax experience in public accounting
• Current experience as a Tax Manager leading a team
• Broad experience across S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, and individuals, with a focus on business clients
• Experience with consolidated federal, partnership, and combined state returns
• A background at a technology-driven, paperless firm
• Comfort working directly with clients, on video and in person
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus

Nice to have

• Construction or manufacturing tax experience
• Experience with CCH Engagement or CCH Access
