Ideal candidates hold a CPA, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 9+ years of public accounting, and proven leadership. This role offers a steady, growth-focused path within a supportive, client-centered firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA certification required.
• 9+ years of recent public accounting experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or people leadership role.
• Strong technical tax knowledge and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relationships and understand clients’ tax needs.
• Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and exempt organizations.
• Prepare tax research memoranda and guidance on federal, state, and local tax matters.
• Assist with notices and requests from taxing authorities as needed.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff through review and coaching.
• Participate in business development activities and strengthen client relationships.
• Manage multiple client engagements and budgets while meeting deadlines.

• Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and exempt organizations.
• Prepare tax research memoranda, written correspondence, and technical guidance related to federal, state, and local tax matters.
• Assist with responses to notices and requests from taxing authorities, as needed.
• Train, mentor, and support staff development through review, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in business development activities, including identifying opportunities, supporting proposals, and strengthening existing client relationships.
• Manage multiple client engagements and budgets while meeting firm and client deadlines.
