A fast-growing infrastructure and technology company operating across data centers, high-performance computing, and digital assets is seeking a Tax Manager to take ownership of key areas of the corporate tax function. This is a hands-on role covering tax provision, compliance, and tax operations, with direct exposure to a scaling multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction structure.

What You'll Do
- Manage the quarterly and annual global income tax provision process, including tax disclosures and footnotes under ASC 740
- Review deferred tax balances, tax payable/receivable, book-to-tax differences, uncertain tax positions (ASC 740/FIN 48), valuation allowances, and related account reconciliations
- Oversee monthly GL reconciliations for direct and indirect tax accounts and coordinate journal entries with the accounting team
- Manage and review externally prepared quarterly estimated payments and extensions across corporate and partnership filing groups
- Coordinate data collection and workpaper preparation for external providers handling federal, state, local, and international filings
- Manage and review federal and state corporate income tax returns, partnership filings, and indirect tax returns
- Maintain the tax filing calendar and ensure all filing and payment obligations are met accurately and on time
- Manage IRS and state notices and audits, including research, documentation, and responses
- Oversee product taxability and exemption certificates, working with sales tax providers on indirect tax compliance
- Partner with accounting and finance on the tax implications of business activities and transactions
- Identify opportunities to improve compliance and provision processes through automation and tax technology
- Mentor and guide a senior team member as part of a growing tax function
What We're Looking For
- 6-12 years of tax experience, combining corporate income tax compliance and provision (in-house and/or public accounting)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate income taxation, federal/state compliance, and ASC 740
- Direct experience managing or reviewing tax provisions, returns, estimates, extensions, and account reconciliations
- Comfortable working hands-on - preparing and reviewing, not solely delegating
- Experience managing external tax advisors and outsourced compliance processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Preferred
- CPA and/or Master's in Taxation
- Exposure to indirect tax (sales and use)
- Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision, Alteryx, or similar tax technology platforms
- Advanced Excel skills
