Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of dedicated accountants and financial professionals, ensuring their productivity and performance meet or exceed expectations.
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on complex financial matters, including tax planning, trusts, and estates.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored financial solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and ensure that the firm's practices align with them.
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives to drive the firm's growth and profitability.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
• Act as a mentor and coach to junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client presentations, to expand the firm's client base.
  
  

Job Details

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, preferably in a managerial role.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience in trusts and estates, including tax planning and compliance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
