A brand new public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax accounting efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the firm's tax services while working remotely. Candidates should have a CPA and a Master's in Tax/Accounting, along with a strong background in tax leadership and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Tax Accounting leadership experience.
• Required Tax experience/specialization HNWI & Flow-through.
• Experience reviewing 1040, S-Corp, Partnerships, Estates & Trusts.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax accounting for a brand new public accounting firm.
• Review various tax returns including Federal and State Tax Returns.
• Provide tax advisory services to clients.

A Bit About Us

Brand new firm launching January 2025, with 3 Partners and a $6-$8M book of a business! 100% Tax and Advisory focused (no audit), who are launching with the promise of being a local firm experience for CPA’s, with Mid-Market | Big Firm clientele + technology.

While this will be a “start-up” feel, we have the infrastructure and book of business of an already well-established firm. We’re very excited for this new adventure, and are looking for Tax (Sr.) Managers, Tax Seniors and Preparers who are entrepreneurial & excited by the possibilities of what we can build together.

• CPA required
• 3-5+ years of Tax Accounting leadership experience with a public accounting/CPA firm
• Required Tax experience/specialization HNWI & Flow-through | Pass-through Entities
• Experience reviewing 1040, S-Corp, Partnerships, Estates & Trusts, and Multistate returns.
• Experience with Federal and State Tax Returns.
• Expertise with MS Excel & common Tax Software
  
  

Desired but not required

• Industry experience with Real Estate Partnerships.
• Master’s Degree in Taxation, Accounting, or similar.
