Job summary

CFS in Wisconsin is seeking a Tax Manager for a long-established Private Family office team serving high net worth, multi-generational families. You will prepare a broad range of complex income tax returns, engage in tax planning, conduct research, and oversee staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA and/or Master’s Degree a plus.
• Extensive experience in income tax preparation.
• Experience with fiduciary and partnership tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex income tax returns (1041, 1065, 990-PF).
• Tax planning, quarterly estimates, and tax research.
• Assist with trust accounting and estate/gift tax returns.

Job description

New permanent opportunity for a Tax Manager. Long established firm that handles Private Family office work for high net worth, multiple and multi-generational families. Responsible for preparing a broad range of complex income tax returns, tax planning, research and overseeing staff.

Compensation: Salary around $110,000-$150,000ish + bonus depending on experience.

Tax Manager Responsibilities

• Prepare complex income tax returns, 1041, 1065 and 990-PF
• Tax planning, quarterly tax estimates, and tax research
• Assist with trust accounting, preparing estate and gift tax returns

Ideal Tax Manager Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree
• CPA and/or Master’s Degree a plus
• Extensive income tax preparation experience
• Experience preparing complex fiduciary and partnership income tax returns

OR

• Tax experience with a strong interest in High Net Worth Tax work
