This position offers an optional hybrid schedule (to be discussed during the interview process).
Essential Functions:
- Provide a final technical review on tax returns and documents for the majority of client base.
- Research tax issues and develop resolutions or recommendations.
- Stay updated on developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee planning, organizing, and interfacing with clients to meet deadlines.
- Communicate with clients to ensure their best interests are achieved.
- Support and direct staff activities, set budgets, and foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor quality and performance of personnel and products.
- Manage tasks/projects assigned to staff and supervisors.
- Participate in staff development and training activities.
- Build and leverage internal and external networks for new business opportunities.
- Oversee billing functions, collections, and monitor WIP, aging, and write-downs.
Qualifications:
- CPA Certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong decision-making skills and initiative.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Organizational skills to prioritize a heavy workload.
