Distinct | North America is seeking experienced tax professionals to join a boutique practice serving ultra high net worth individuals, family offices, and private equity clients. Remote work is available for Illinois residents, with opportunities to progress from Senior to Manager as the practice grows.

You’ll handle a broad range of tax matters, including individual, partnerships, trusts, corporations and international tax, with emphasis on planning, client relationships, and mentoring less

Qualifications

• Experience in US tax for individuals, partnerships, trusts, corporations and international tax.
• Strong client‑facing and advisory skills.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and grow with the team.

Responsibilities

• Involve planning and complex tax projects for ultra high net worth clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients across the firm’s network.
• Support and guide less experienced colleagues through technical questions.

That’s the kind of work you’ll get into at this boutique tax practice, with room to progress whether you’re already a Manager or an experienced Senior ready for the next step.

You’ll work with ultra high net worth individuals, family offices, and private equity and venture capital professionals. Often, you’ll look after the wider family structure, with work spanning individual tax, partnerships, trusts, corporations and international tax.

There’s complex work beyond reviewing returns. You’ll get involved in planning, build relationships with clients and help less experienced colleagues work through technical questions.

The team works remotely across Illinois, and you don’t need a CPA to progress here. Your ability and contribution matter, with room to take on more responsibility as the practice grows.
