Qualifications

  • Active CPA license required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Five or more years of public accounting tax experience preferred.
  • Experience reviewing complex individual and business tax returns.
  • Previous experience supervising staff and managing client engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Review workpapers and returns for accuracy and compliance.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants and senior accountants.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and technical guidance to team members.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, professional service.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client services and support firm growth.
  • Participate in process improvements, quality initiatives, and business development activities.
