• Active CPA license (required)

Tax Manager | Decatur, AL | $100K-$140K base + Bonus + Profit Sharing | Hybrid

Our client is a well-established, mid-sized public accounting firm that has served businesses, organizations, and individuals across North Alabama for over 70 years. They're known for giving every client close, personalized attention, and they've built a culture where people genuinely come first. They're looking for a Tax Manager to help lead the tax practice as it continues to grow.

The Role

• Review complex individual, business, and entity returns, with hands-on preparation as needed
• Manage a portfolio of clients across nearly every industry, so no two weeks look the same
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leading proactive tax planning and consulting conversations
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Seniors and Staff, and help shape how the tax team works
• Work directly with partners on client relationships, workflow, and firm growth

What You Bring

• Active CPA license (required)
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience, including time reviewing work and leading engagements
• Strong technical knowledge across individual and business tax
• Experience supervising and developing staff
• Someone who enjoys client relationships and wants to be part of a close-knit team

Compensation and Benefits

• $100K-$140K base salary, depending on experience
• 4 weeks of PTO
